The Geebung Zillmere RSL Social Golf Club plays on average 24 games per year. The first game is in late January and the final is in November, followed by our end of year dinner function in December at the Geebing Zillmere RSL. We have played on the majority of courses in South East Qld. Our games are generally every second Sunday and are a variety of events. At every game players have the opportunity of winning a prize. We target early start times so members still have time on Sundays for other social or family activities. Our club is a social golf club. Partners are encouraged to play. Our skills do vary but our objective is to have a great time. The rules of golf are followed, plus a couple of our own, designed to speed up the game.
We have our own club shirt and these are available to purchase. Normally we have three bus trips per year. The main trip every year is the June long weekend. In recent years, we have travelled to Tenterfield and Hervey Bay. We do welcome new members. So if you are interested in joining our great club please give our secretary Les Shelly a call on Ph 32644041.
The Bowls Club meets from 1.00pm on the third Sunday of each month at Geebung Bowls Club. To join the club, you must be an affiliated member of a Bowls Club as well as a member of Geebung-Zillmere RSL Club. Application Forms and information is available from President, Bill Brown Ph: 3265 3329

The Geebung Zillmere RSL has a social Fishing Club. We offer something for everybody. We have the offshore trips out to the deep blue yonder chasing reefies or palegics for the serious angler AND the laid back trips doing Beach Fishing or Estuary. We do all forms of saltwater fishing. We are a small club but are a very tight knit unit. We promote family fishing days which are very laid back generally taking the format of a morning fishing session followed by a BBQ. The more serious trips take us out beyond Moreton Island or to both Coasts (Gold and Sunshine).

The Pool Club meets every Thursday night for a competition at Geebung-Zillmere RSL Club and also has an inter pool competition on Tuesday evenings. Contact President, Don Thomson Ph: 0405 944 478 for more information or visit http://gzrslpool.org
